"When I started (writing) it I was entering my teenage years
When I was a teenager I was very obsessed by Bach, Revueltas, Trevor Wishart and pop music
I had this fantasy of what if Bach was living on the very early 00’s and was a self taught teenage hacker who just got a hold of some pirated music making software, like me, oh silly boy I know, it ended sounding nothing like him and everything like mhv. It took me almost 10 years to complete but was somehow (and maybe naively) convinced I got to the very essence of it (soul-math-data-reaction-experience).
When I finished it I hid it on the inter webs hoping someone very curious, very like me at the time would find it, It never happened. Also made a very limited physical production of it in the shape of CD’s and cassettes that I gave away to my close friends and family, the word kind of spread and found some pirated copies of it on some street markets (mercados, tianguis) I was very pleased by this and continued to make secret music on my secret lab."
